“House At Hillside” located in Singapore is a renovation project of a half a century old residence by Nota Design International pte Ltd. The 147 square meters (1582 sq. ft.) property achieved high aesthetic and quality with a low budget. Full-height timber-framed clear glass pivot panels at the front of the house allow good ventilation when the doors are opened, and air conditioning to work efficiently when they are closed.
Houses within the historic district in Concord, Massachusetts must maintain the town’s historic character as defined by the Historic District Commission. This 1890s residence was redesigned by Estes Twombly Architects and taken back to its simplest form. The architects succeeded in modernizing the house while paying homage to its history.

The original architecture was preserved because of its historic value. The interior design has a modern eclectic flair that mixes rustic furniture with IKEA carpet and antique elements.
This modern home design in Mill Valley, California by architect Sharon Portnoy has a new floor plan that results in better energy flow. The new open kitchen becomes the centre of this family home. The new design of the house has also created a gallery that allows direct access to the garage and serves as the central hallway that connects to the rest of the house.
