Renovation of a Simple House into a Modern Masterpiece

A 1950 home in the Beaches neighbourhood at 46 Herbert Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, Canada was completely redesigned by architect Felix Leicher of Baukultur/ca.

The newly renovated 2,880 sq ft, 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom light-filled energy efficient modern home features thermally treated wood slats on the exterior, and white walls and pale, wide plank oak flooring in the interior, giving the whole home a clean, relaxed feeling.
