The colour grey is elegant, masculine, natural and goes well against bold colours such as yellow, purple, green, red and orange. It can also be a more understated balancer with cream, beige and brown.
Grey doesn’t have to be boring if you use contrasting colours to complement the background. Put a few bright throw pillows on a bed and it instantly adds personality to a room.
