Author Ian Fleming wrote all of his James Bond novels at his retreat GoldenEye located in Oracabessa Bay on the north coast of Jamaica. The villa was later sold to the founder of Island Records Chris Blackwell who expanded the property which became GoldenEye Hotel and Resort.

The original Fleming Villa is a five-bedroom unit — three bedrooms plus two guest cottages — with a private swimming pool and a secluded private beach. Guests will also find Fleming’s original writing desk at which he wrote the James Bond novels.
Additional one and two bedroom cottages and lagoon suites provide tropical accommodations in peaceful settings.
